Monique R. Wells

Monique Wells, Associate Director of The Churchill Gallery, is a native of Belgium. She received her undergraduate education at Vancelst Institute in Antwerp, where she studied art and tourism. Subsequent study took place at O.L.Vrouw Institute, where she earned a graduate degree in education. Monique worked as an educator in Belgium for 15 years and spent several years in the diamond business in Antwerp, before moving to the United States in 1995. She brings to her work a broad knowledge of the history of art and a rare understanding of trends in contemporary art, design and style.

Monique is a serious student of dance. She is a lover of all animals, in particular, her two Persians, Cézanne and Suzeau.
