Virginia Wentworth Barnes Born in Montreal, Gina spent most of her childhood on the North Shore of Boston. She lived abroad for a number of years, attending Le Collège Beau Soleil in Switzerland, and was exposed to the rich and diverse culture of Europe from an early age. She studied fine art at Smith College and Dartmouth College, where she received her B.A. in 1975. Subsequent art study continued at Boston University, before joining the family business, The Old Newbury Crafters, in 1976. She purchased the company in 2000, and is now sole proprietor of The Churchill Gallery. Gina is the mother of two grown children, Sara and Alexander. She delights in her beloved horses Ulysses and Mercury, and in her garden by the bay. |
